How to read the Steal an Egg pet database
Every card above shows a pet's rarity, where it comes from and the highest income we have actually seen it make. Click a featured pet to open its full page with every reading we logged, the timestamp of the clip it came from and a quick estimate of what each mutation would do to it.
Two things trip up almost every new player when they compare Steal an Egg pets:
- Income depends on egg weight. Every egg has a weight in kilograms that you can check before you steal it. A small Tiger made about $25K per second in one run; a huge one in the number one player's pen made $39 million. Same pet, roughly fifteen hundred times apart. When you see a range on a pet page, that's why.
- Mutations multiply on top of size. A Silver, Golden, Scrambled or Rainbow roll changes the value again, and several mutations can stack on one pet. The pet database shows unmutated readings where we have them and labels the rest.
So treat the numbers here as "what a decent copy looks like", not a fixed stat. If you want to estimate your own copy, plug its unmutated income into the income calculator.
Pet rarities in Steal an Egg
From weakest to strongest, the rarity ladder runs Common → Uncommon → Rare → Epic → Legendary → Mythic → Cosmic → Secret → Eternal → Divine. A separate Limited tag covers pets you can't steal any more: shop eggs, retired event pets and brainrot crossover pulls.
- Common to Epic pets are index fodder. Hatch one of each for the index reward (cash and speed), then sell them. Early on that reward is worth more than the pet.
- Legendary and Mythic pets carry the first few biomes. The legendary Brr Brr Patapim is the rarest thing in the Forest, and a Mythic Scorpion was winning no-Robux races.
- Cosmic is the top slot in early biomes that have no secret, like the Lake's Leviathan.
- Secret pets start in the Jungle with the King Snake. When one spawns, the whole server gets a message, so expect company.
- Eternal eggs glow and take hours to grow. Your first eternal hatch awards a badge. The Celestial Sun Lion is the best one at the moment.
- Divine eggs spawn in every server simultaneously, but each server rolls its own size. They are the ceiling of any pen.
Which Steal an Egg pets are worth keeping?
Your pen has limited slots, so the real question is never "is this pet good?" but "is it better than the worst thing in my pen?". Press Equip Best after every hatch and the game sorts it out for you. A few rules of thumb from the runs we studied:
- Anything from two or more biomes behind where you can steal is probably a sell, unless it's huge or mutated.
- Keep one copy of each pet until it's in your index, then decide.
- Don't sell duplicates of eternals or secrets you could put in the Fuse Machine. Three of the same pet can be fused into a new egg, and fusing is how many players turn three small Mosasauruses into one decent one. It's a gamble, though. One test fused three giant 67s for 40 trillion and got back a worse pet.
- Divine eggs are almost always worth placing even when small. A tiny divine still beat most of the eternals in our sources.
The pets everyone is chasing
The current top end of Steal an Egg looks like this, with our highest non-admin readings:
| Pet | Rarity | Where | Best reading |
|---|---|---|---|
| Spirit World Guardian | Divine | Fusion | $2.2T/s |
| Royal Sky Whale | Divine | Enchanted Forest | $422B/s |
| Aetherion | Divine | Angels & Demons | $710B/s |
| World Burner | Divine | Angels & Demons | $500B/s |
| Archangel | Divine | Angels & Demons | $227B/s |
| Night Flame | Divine | Titan Temple | $80B/s |
| Gargoyle | Secret | Angels & Demons | $67B/s |
| Kitsune | Divine | Cherry Blossom | $48B/s |
Notice the Gargoyle sitting above the Kitsune. That's the weight rule in action: a massive golden secret can outearn a small divine. Full rankings, including mutations and weapons, live on the tier list.
Brainrot pets in Steal an Egg
Steal an Egg shares an audience with Steal a Brainrot, and it shows. Brainrot characters like the Strawberry Elephant, 67, Tung Tung Tung Sahur, Bananita, Orangutini Ananasini and Brr Brr Patapim appear as pets, mostly through Robux egg packs. The Strawberry Elephant is the famous one, a 1% pull worth roughly $176–230 million per second. That was flashy when it launched, but by mid-game any eternal beats it. Most of the other brainrots in packs earn under $1,000 a second and get sold immediately.
Event, shop and retired pets
Some pets never appear in a biome:
- Octophant came from the Unstable DNA egg during Dr. Scramble's lab update, with a pity at 100 mutations.
- Mecha Scrambler is an ultra-rare drop from beating Dr. Scramble, and the Pink Dragon Experiment is the reward for 100 boss wins.
- Skeletal Sabertooth comes from the Robux Extinction egg: 1% for a skeletal reroll, then 0.5% for the sabertooth itself.
- Archdemon Dragon and Balrog were in the Demonic Egg Collection from the September 4 update and are gone now.
Filter by "Events", "Shop" or "Retired" above to see them all.
Where our numbers come from
Every reading links to a timestamp in one of the source videos, recorded between August and October 2026. Admin-spawned or creator-panel eggs are much larger than anything a normal server produces, so we label those readings and leave them out of the "best reading" on each card. When the game updates, the numbers can drift. If a value looks off, open the clip and compare it with what you see in your own server.
