How the income calculator works
The Steal an Egg income calculator takes a pet's unmutated income per second and applies everything that multiplies it:
- Mutations. Silver, Golden, Scrambled and Rainbow use the multipliers we measured from side-by-side readings (about 1.2x, 2.5x, 2.75x and 3.5x). Switch to "older guide values" to see the 1.25x, 2x and 2.5x figures that still circulate. Enchanted, Fractured, Monstrous and Bloom don't have a clean measurement yet, so you can type in your own value.
- Stacking. Several mutations on one pet are multiplied together, so Golden + Scrambled + Rainbow is about 2.5 × 2.75 × 3.5 ≈ 24x. That matches the stacked pets we've seen, but treat stacked results as estimates.
- The 2x Money game pass. It doubles every pet permanently. Players often quote their income before and after the pass, so make sure you know which one you're comparing.
- 2x cash boost. A temporary potion from the Boss shop (1,200 tokens) or Robux.
- Admin Abuse 2x money. Active only while a developer is in the server.
Pick a pet from the drop-down to start from a real reading, such as a $1B small Unicorn or a $14M Kraken, then tick the mutations your copy has. The panel on the right shows income per second, per minute, per hour and per day.
Where do I find the unmutated income?
Open your pets list and look at the pet's income. If it already has a mutation, divide by that mutation's multiplier. For example, a Golden pet showing $10B was making about $4B before the Golden roll. If you're looking at an egg you haven't hatched, the egg info panel in your inventory estimates its value.
"How long until I can afford it?"
Most decisions in Steal an Egg come down to one question: wait or buy? Put the price of your next treadmill, trail or pen upgrade into the savings box and the calculator tells you how long your current income takes to cover it. Some reference prices from our sources:
| Upgrade | Price |
|---|---|
| First treadmill unlock | $1,000 |
| Cyber treadmill | $15K |
| Orange trail | $30M |
| Golden trail | $39M |
| Lucky Block treadmill | $75B |
| Galaxy Cosmic trail (5x) | $20B |
| 7x trail | $500B |
| Treadmill after Lucky Block | $2T |
| Demonic treadmill | $50T |
| Angelic treadmill | $1Qa |
If the answer is "three days", that's your sign to go steal better eggs instead of waiting. A new eternal usually moves the number more than any upgrade.
How the speed planner works
Speed is gated by the biome signs. The planner takes three inputs:
- Your current speed, shown in the top right of your screen.
- Speed per step, shown on your treadmill. It goes from 10 on the Cyber treadmill to 1,000 on the Lucky Block and 34M on the Guardian treadmill.
- Steps per second. A normal run gives about 2. Watch your counter for ten seconds to check yours.
Then add your speed multiplier upgrade (the Robux ladder that goes x2, x4, x8 up to x4,000) and your trail boost. The table shows each biome's sign value and how long until you hit it. Green rows are already unlocked.
Why the planner says "unlocked" but you still get caught
The sign value is the minimum to outrun the guardian with a light egg. Heavy eggs slow you down a lot. Players with exactly 7B speed at the Titan Temple, the number on the sign, got caught again and again with big eggs. Plan for 20–50% above the sign if you want a big egg, or use the drop-and-pick-up trick from our stealing tricks guide.
Free speed the planner doesn't count
The planner only models treadmill time. On top of that you get speed from:
- Index rewards. Each new pet you hatch pays speed and cash. Early on this is the biggest source by far. One free-to-play run jumped from 24K to 63K in a single claim, and hatching a first eternal paid 5.4M speed.
- Joining the game's community group, a one-time bonus of 10,000 speed. That's more than your first ten minutes of running.
- Admin treadmills, which run at 4x–8x during Admin Abuse.
- Speed potions: the Doctor's flask (1.25x for five minutes), sample-shop bursts and the Train Potion (double treadmill gain).
Accuracy notes
The calculators run entirely in your browser and use the data on this site. Numbers shift as Steal an Egg updates, so if your in-game result differs from ours by more than a few percent, a multiplier has probably changed. Check the evidence table on the mutations page and the clip timestamps in the pet database.
