The easy secret
The Yeti is the secret of the Snow biome, the same ram-horned, ice-crusted monster from the Steal an Egg thumbnail art, in pet form. With a speed sign of just 170K, it's one of the most reachable secrets in the game, and a common first secret for free-to-play accounts.

The giant silver one came from a 24,000-Robux challenge in its final minute: "Oh, one of the eggs is huge… Silver Yeti. I will take that. That looks so sick." It's a good illustration of how far size and a mutation stretch even an early secret.
How to get it
- Snow nests (170K speed). Secret spawns are announced. "Secret yeti egg in the snow area. Oh, it's right here. Give me that."
- Server hops. Yeti secrets spawn often, so hopping a few servers usually finds one.
At 170K, small Yeti eggs are "light work". At much lower speed (one creator had 21K in a race) the Yeti guardian catches you instantly. And remember that night stops all stealing, so a Yeti grabbed seconds before dusk is safe.
The free-to-play benchmark
In our zero-Robux run, the first secret was a Snow Yeti at $5.2M, after about an hour of treadmill time to reach the Prehistoric: "We did manage to get our first secret, which is a Yeti. And no, this guy doesn't make the base, right? 5.2 million. Oh, that's so good." It jumped the account's income several times over.
When to move on
Later in the game, Yetis are filler. A server-reset player with a big pen called a fresh secret Yeti "a yeti, which we obviously can't use." That's normal. The Yeti's job is to carry you from Snow to the Volcano and Abyss Ocean. After that, Krakens, Lava Dragons and eternals take over.
Where it sits
C tier. The easiest secret in Steal an Egg and a great early boost, with a short shelf life.
Yeti FAQ
How do I know a Yeti egg is a secret? The spawn message names it ("secret yeti egg in the snow area"), and the egg looks different from the regular Snow eggs.
Is the Yeti worth mutating? Only early on. A giant Silver Yeti reached $95M, which is great at the Snow stage, but potions are better saved for eternals and divines later.
Does the Yeti count for the Snow index? Yes. Filling the Snow index, Yeti included, is how you unlock the Ice Bat, a big weapon upgrade over the default bat.
What should I do with Yeti duplicates? Once one is indexed, sell extras or keep three for the Fuse Machine if you want a shot at a bigger copy.
