How badges work in Steal an Egg
Roblox badges are permanent achievements tied to your account. Steal an Egg awards them for hatching milestones, and when you earn one a popup appears near the top of the screen ("Badge awarded…"). Badges don't give in-game boosts, but they're a handy checklist of how far an account has come, and some players hunt them for profile bragging rights.
We only mark a badge as confirmed when we've seen it pop on screen in a source video, and each confirmed badge has a timestamp link. Entries marked "not yet confirmed" are milestones the game clearly tracks but that we haven't caught on camera. We'd rather say so than guess.
Hatched a Secret
You earn this the first time you hatch a secret-rarity pet. Secrets begin in the Jungle (the King Snake), but most players' first one is a Kraken from the Abyss Ocean or a Yeti from the Snow biome, because those biomes are cheap to reach and their secrets spawn often. In one fresh-account run the popup came with a $14M Kraken, partway through the Abyss Ocean stage.
How to get it fast:
- Reach 170K speed for the Snow biome or 2.5M for the Abyss Ocean.
- Watch chat for "a secret … egg has spawned".
- Small secret eggs are fine. The badge doesn't care about size.
Hatched an Eternal
The first eternal hatch awards this one; the popup reads "Badge awarded: Hatched Eternal". Typical first eternals are the Ice Dragon (Snow), Lava Dragon (Volcano), Lunar Dragon (Cosmic) and Oni Tiger (Cherry Blossom, but often given out in mini games). A free-to-play creator got the badge from a silver Oni Tiger worth $600M per second, after waiting out an 8-hour timer, cut to about 6 hours by the 1.25x grow index reward.
Tips:
- Eternal eggs glow and are announced. Keep the game open so you see the message.
- Admin Abuse mini games (Red Light Green Light, Capture the Egg) hand out eternal eggs to winners. That's the easiest path for a low-speed account.
- You can also steal an eternal egg from another player mid-run by hitting them. It's in the name of the game.
Hatched a Divine (not yet confirmed)
The game clearly tracks divines, and every divine hatch is a big moment, but we haven't seen a dedicated badge popup on camera. If it exists, the cheapest route is the Unicorn from the Cosmic biome (700M speed, 12-hour timer).
Index completion rewards
These aren't Roblox badges, but they behave like them and they're far more useful. Every biome has an index page. Each new pet you hatch pays an immediate reward of speed and cash, and completing a biome's index unlocks that biome's bat skin:
- Complete the Lake index for your first proper bat.
- Complete the Snow index for the Ice Bat.
- Complete the Titan Temple index for the Axe.
In the early game the index is the strongest source of speed. Type a biome's name into the index filter to see exactly which eggs you're missing.
Boss Mastery tiers
Beating Dr. Scramble counts toward Boss Mastery, which you can check by clicking the potion-shaped icon near the lab:
| Wins | Reward |
|---|---|
| 10 | Egg rewards (e.g. a Scrambled Biohazard egg) |
| 15 | A legendary pet |
| 100 | Pink Dragon Experiment (eternal) |
A hundred wins is a lot of 30-minute boss cycles, so it's a long-term goal for players who are online during lab weeks anyway.
Welcome and tutorial (not yet confirmed)
The tutorial teaches the loop: steal the Chicken's egg, run it to the safe zone, place it in your pen and hatch it. Many Roblox games award a welcome badge here. We'll confirm whether Steal an Egg does once we catch it on camera.
Seen a badge we haven't listed?
Steal an Egg adds content almost every week, and new badges tend to arrive with new biomes. If you spot a badge popup that isn't on this page, note the exact wording. We'll add it once we can verify it. Meanwhile the beginner guide gets you to your first secret badge in about half an hour.
