The new king of divines
The Royal Sky Whale arrived with the Enchanted Forest update and immediately took over the top of Steal an Egg. It's a huge, glowing whale that swims through the air above your pen, so bright that one creator's first reaction to the egg was "damn, that thing is bright". It's the strongest divine you can steal, and the essential ingredient of the even stronger Spirit World Guardian.

Those numbers span almost two orders of magnitude, which is the egg-weight story in its most extreme form. A massive whale with mutations is worth more than most players' entire pens. One player mentioned seeing someone with a 1 trillion per second unmutated whale.
Where and how to get it
The Sky Whale spawns in the Enchanted Forest, which needs 50B speed. Like every divine, it spawns in every server simultaneously, each with its own size. Spawn timing is unpredictable and often at awkward hours. One player missed two spawns because both happened while they were asleep, and said "I hate this game, bro" before finally catching one.
Tips:
- Keep Steal an Egg open in the background. Divine spawns are announced only in-game.
- Hop servers after the announcement to find a bigger copy.
- Bring a Hammer or Axe. Every player in the server is sprinting for it.
- Have a speed buffer. Whale eggs can be massive, and big eggs slow you down.
Hatching and mutating
The whale egg takes about 18 hours to grow. Before hatching, it's the perfect target for your best mutations:
- Scrambled potions (about 10% each) are worth spending here.
- Enchanted Essence (100%) from Butterfly Bloom.
- Natural Golden or Rainbow rolls make a whale a jackpot.
Our measured multipliers (Golden 2.5x, Scrambled 2.75x, Rainbow 3.5x) mean a single natural Rainbow on a big whale is worth more than several extra divines.
Why you want two
The Sky Whale's biggest value isn't its own income. Two whales and two Celestial Sun Lions fuse into the Spirit World Guardian, recorded at $2.2 trillion per second. And the whale is the ingredient that decides how good the Guardian turns out. So the best Steal an Egg players aren't trying to own a whale, they're trying to own two big ones.
If you only have one, it's still the best divine to have in your pen. When your second arrives (from a spawn or a friend's gift), head to the Enchanted Tree.
How it compares
At typical sizes the Sky Whale outearns the Aetherion, World Burner and Archangel, and its ceiling with size and mutations is far higher. In an admin test at size 100 it reached $22T base, "the best base pet ever" according to the creator, though that number isn't reachable in normal servers.
